Square dancing is not hard to learn. You do
not have to be an accomplished dancer to learn and enjoy square
dancing. Lessons at Spares
and Pairs are held weekly each Wednesday
starting in September. This year's (2007) lessons start on September
12th
at 6:30 pm - 8:00 p.m. There is a nominal
charge of $3.50
per
lesson. Family discounts are available.
New dancers are joined by more experienced dancers (angels) as
the caller introduces the calls. Each call is practiced until the
caller sees the students are ready to go to the next call. Each
new dancer will be helped by the angels and will learn really quickly.
Square dancers are friendly people and enjoy each others company.
The dancing is fun and you get to know a lot of people and have
a good time with them. Come join us.
Classes
are held at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 1114 W American
Blvd
at Dupont in Bloomington, MN. Click

Dress attire is casual. Treats
Table
A
very important part of our dance evening is the Treats Table.

Some of the pre-packaged treats appearing on theTreats
Table are: pickles, potato chips, tostito chips and salsa,
crackers, various trail mixes, peanuts, almonds, canned
or dried fruits,
carrots,
cheese, cookies,
candy, pretzels, packaged meats, cheese spreads and dips.
We appreciate and thank all the members and guests
who donate the treats; it's a marvelous touch
to a fun evening
of camaraderie and dancing.
